Tomakin NSW

We had a good drive from Eden, through Merimbula and further north. We stopped in the historic village of Cobargo and had a wander around the shops.
Turninng right from the highway at Mogo we found Tomakin and a quiet park beside the Tomaga River and beside the Tomakin Club, we are looking forward to having a look around

We were greeted with another sunny day and decided to explore the coast between Tomakin and Bateman's Bay.
The local area is so lovely we walked along the river then the beach finding a stunning rocky shoreline. It was beautiful, the bay was calm and the sky was clear. This area is a haven for fishermen and Trev may throw a line in tomorrow.

Gentle sea on a rocky coast

Rocky mountains

We drove slowly north turning into each side road that went to the coast finding each beach a little different. We were amazed at the homes clinging to the cliffs around here and can only imagine the cost of a sea view, there are also many tiny cottages hidden among the trees.

Batehaven

We soon reached the outlying suburbs of Batemans Bay and joined the city traffic to the shopping centre. After buying what we needed we found a delicious lunch and then retraced our steps back to the caravan.

Calm for the moment
