Wycheproof Vic

Lazy morning and late exit from park took us to Wycheproof for morning tea (YES we did need it! By then, we'd travelled for almost an hour)

Wycheproof is an interesting little town that has a very wide main street with a railway line running straight through the middle of it. The line was originally installed to carry grain and wool to market and is still used for grain today.

The main street is Broadway named by a visiting American who said the street was as wide as Broadway in NYC.

Pedestrians...watch out!

We couldn't work out exactly what this was or why it was in such a prominent position in the main street. I thought perhaps a forgotten graveyard of unsold sculptures or a welders folly.
