Broulee & Moruya NSW

Broulee

Another beautiful day on the coast, we decided to go to Moruya for lunch and ended up browsing the local beaches and shops. Moruya is a nice little town that has everything you could need although I'm sure the locals get sick of the constant traffic passing through the middle of it. We'll return on the weekend to go to the market.

Broulee is a surprisingly populated holiday area with stunning beaches and I'm not sure it would be as appealing in the summer when the masses arrive from the city. We saw the best vegetable garden ever using the whole front garden of a very modern home, unfortunately the only things on sale were chokos so guess what....pumpkin and choko mash for dinner, delicious!

Anticipation....

Lonely bay at Broulee

We watched surfers just sitting around waiting for waves and frankly wonder what the attraction to that sport is, especially when the bay was so smooth and calm.

A highlight of the day was shell collecting at Broulee and we found lots of gorgeous colouful specimens of the tiny banded kelp shell.
