Genoa Vic

Genoa is the last Victorian town before the border.
We were fortunate enough to find a spot in a great free camp which was once a caravan park. We arrived around 5pm and surprised to find so many vans already there, the next day discovered that people started to arrive from about noon to secure a good place.
We stayed for 2 nights just relaxing and chatting with neighbours who were immensely helpful and generous sharing their caravanning knowledge with us.

Wooden bridge crossing the Genoa River between the camping area and village
Some old chooks taking free ranging to a new level at the camp

The old Pub is a welcome watering hole for many weary travellers
